What to expect during a MonaLisa treatment

The MonaLisa laser treatment is given in three 5 minute treatments, six weeks apart. A mild numbing lotion is applied and after a 10 minute wait for it to take effect, the procedure will begin. Both the vagina and vulva will be treated to ensure maximum benefit, which will only take 5 minutes with no discomfort. A light coating of Aquaphor on the vulva twice a day for the 3-4 day healing period is recommended. You can resume intercourse after that time, but you will need no recovery time to resume your other normal activities.

How long does a MonaLisa Touch treatment last?

The MonaLisa touch treatment typically lasts for over a year. If after that time you start experiencing symptoms again, a yearly touch-up treatment (at 1/3 the cost of the original treatment) is recommended.
